New World<\/a>, the brand new MMORPG from Amazon Games, requires you to choose between three factions: the Marauders, the Covenant, and the Syndicate. While these factions<\/a> offer an equivalent experience, the significant differences are the opponents in PvP and cosmetic items.  <\/p>\n

If you’ve chosen the Marauders faction, you will procure the ability to escalate your ranks and become a Gladiator. However, you must complete the “Trial of the Gladiator” quest first before gaining these perks. If you’re having a hard time while completing this quest, this guide will give you a comprehensive walkthrough in completing it.<\/p>\n

Completing Trial of the Gladiator quest in New World<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The primary objective of New World’s Trial of the Gladiator quest is to defeat Captain Hamidou. To start off, you’ll need to visit Cutlass Keys and speak to Winifred Silas in order to trigger this quest. However, make sure you’ve accumulated enough Gladiator points; otherwise, she’ll not offer you the quest.<\/p>\n

After a short cutscene, Winifred Silas will ask you to battle with Captain Hamidou, a Lost Pirate. He is located on the deck of the capsized ship near the coast at Nautilus of Nunez, behind the Monarch’s borders. Hamidou’s pinpoint location is marked in the image below.<\/p>\n

However, the captain is not alone on the ship. You will have to defeat several enemies before encountering the captain. As soon as you find Hamidou on the ship, simply defeat him and return to Cutlass Keys to complete the quest. <\/p>\n
