Riot Games has revealed the first details about all the changes coming to League of Legends<\/a> with patch 11.21, scheduled to hit the live servers on 20th October.<\/p>\n

As recent patches were mostly focused on balancing the meta seen during the 2021 World Championship<\/a>, Riot has started working towards the end of the 2021 Season, as players are now grinding their way to higher ranks in the ladder before it’s over.<\/p>\n

That said, patch 11.21 will bring bigger balance updates for many of League’s most OP champions currently, while giving the chance to shine for some others prior to the offseason, and also bringing big nerfs for a couple of runes and keystones.<\/p>\n

Differing in size and impact from patch 11.20<\/a>, League’s next update will have some pretty big changes, as confirmed on the preview released by Riot Phlox<\/a>, one of the designers on the Summoner’s Rift team.<\/p>\n

Kicking off the buffs list, Viego will receive some big improvements with an increase in the AD Ratio of his Blade of the Ruined King from 60% to 70%, a decrease in the self slow of his Spectral Maw by 5%, and a 100% Crit Ratio for his Heartbreaker.<\/p>\n

Teemo also joins this list, as the Swift Scout’s Blinding Dart will be overhauled with three great updates, decreasing its cooldown one second, and also buffing its blind duration by 0.5 seconds at all levels, and its missile speed going from 1,500 to 2,500.<\/p>\n

Lux will also get many changes for her entire skillset, with a better AS bonus per level, a longer duration in her passive mark if a basic attack is in flight or her ultimate ability is being cast, extra damage for her Lucent Singularity at all ranks, and a reduction on her Final Spark’s cooldown at its first two ranks.<\/p>\n

Other featured buffs include better movement speed for Xayah, along with a cooldown reduction on her Double Daggers, an increase in Jinx’s passive AS together with a longer cast range for her Flame Chompers and a lower cooldown for her ultimate, and a bigger shield ratio for Sion’s Soul Furnace.<\/p>\n

As for the champion nerfs, these will be quite less complex but equally impactful, starting with a reduction on the bonus AS coming from Quinn’s Heightened Senses, a reduction for Graves’ Quickdraw armour, and a much-needed for Akshan’s Heroic Swing damage per shot.<\/p>\n

The last revealed changes will be for both Karthus and Miss Fortune, with the first getting a nerf on his Defile’s mana refund, and the latter getting a decrease on her base mana, and an increase for her Strut’s mana cost.<\/p>\n

Patch 11.21: Item and rune updates<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This time, a lot of runes and keystones are set to receive major changes and adjustments in their stats, with the Conqueror one getting the worst part, as its adaptive per stack and buff duration will be nerfed, along with the Guardian rune having a decrease on its shield, and the Ravenous Hunter’s omnivamp per stack going from 1.5% to 1.2%.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Ingenious Hunter will receive a better base item haste, going from 10 to 20, and will now handle up to six stacks instead of five, and the Health Rune stat shard will be better at last levels.<\/p>\n

A couple of items are also on the sight in this patch, with the Goredrinker getting a lot of updates by changing its active damage effect, being based from 100% total AD to 175% base AD, its health regeneration and Spite passive will be removed, and now will also give a bonus 8% Omnivamp.<\/p>\n

The other adjusted item will be the Stridebreaker, getting the same active damage effect as the Goredrinker, but also increase its base AD bonus from 45 to 50.<\/p>\n

Patch 11.21: New Dragonmancer skins and Syndra’s VFX update<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Closing the features for this patch, a new set of Dragonmancer skins<\/a> will be added into the game, now available for you to try through League’s PBE.<\/p>\n

These new skins for Yasuo, Volibear, Kai’Sa, Thresh and Karma will feature many outstanding effects and ornamental details, having the same unique and mythical style from past releases. You can take a first look at these aspects in the video below.<\/p>\n
