(Picture: Riot Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The NA LCQ was riddled with issues even before it began, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/valorant\/oceania-teams-to-miss-valorant-na-lcq-due-to-covid-19\">Oceania squads being removed from the event<\/a> due to strict COVID-19 policies, which according to Riot, would have made it impossible for them to travel, train, and compete in a &#8220;timely manner.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/valorant\/na-valorant-lcq-lan-uses-remote-servers-as-covid-19-precaution-riot-explains\">using remote servers for a LAN<\/a> tournament caused in-game issues, with players experiencing lag during crucial moments of certain matches, including one that cost Luminosity Gaming a round against XSET.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/valorant\/false-positive-covid-results-leave-valorant-na-lcq-in-shambles\">two FaZe Clan members received false-positive COVID-19<\/a> tests forcing them to quarantine in accordance with the Los Angeles County health restrictions despite following tests coming back negative.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/1lY0Frn9A8JXZtyYPX7uUETxFKVuim6LMkKMuAdFrbk\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9WYWxvcmFudC9sY3EuanBn\" alt=\"valorant esports\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The LCQ venue looks incredible, we&#8217;ll give them that.
