(Picture: Riot Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With his passive, <strong>Phenomenal Evil Power<\/strong>, whenever Veigar strikes an enemy Champion with a spell or scores a takedown, it will grant him a permanent bonus of Ability Power.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s move on to his active skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Baleful Strike<\/strong>: Veigar unleashes a bolt of dark energy that deals magic damage to the first two enemies hit. Units killed by this bolt will also grant Veigar some ability power permanently.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dark Matter<\/strong>: Veigar calls a great mass of dark matter to fall from the sky to the target location, dealing magic damage when it lands. Depending on how many Phenomenal Evil stacks you have, its cooldown will be reduced.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Event Horizon<\/strong>: Veigar twists the edges of space, creating a cage that Stuns enemies that pass through.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ultimate &#8211; Primordial Burst<\/strong>: Blasts target enemy champion, dealing a large amount of magic damage, increasing based on the target&#8217;s missing health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Runes and spells recommended for Veigar<\/strong><\/h2>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/RpI22zLnLkfGHMLy1QPBSaCiEkE2nICT0cRVXmLpfgA\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XaWxkX1JpZnQvUGF0Y2hlcy8yLjUvV2lsZFJpZnRWZWlnYXJfaW5zaWRlXzIuanBn\" alt=\"League of Legends Wild Rift Veigar runes and spells\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Make your enemies cower before Veigar&#8217;s villainous power. (Picture: Riot Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Veigar is known for his incredibly useful skillset, since it allows both to play it as a solo laner within the middle lane, as well as to use it to prevent enemy attacks and ambushes using it as a support in the bot lane, and thanks to his low cooldowns, spamming his abilities it&#8217;s usually quite easy.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Electrocute<\/strong>: Triggers on successful skill combos and trades, dealing bonus damage to affected enemies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Brutal<\/strong>: Grants bonus ability power and magic penetration.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hunter &#8211; Titan<\/strong>: Grants 20 max health, while unique champion takedowns add an additional 20 HP and 4% tenacity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sweet Tooth<\/strong>: Grants additional gold when consuming some Honeyfruit, in addition to increasing its healing effects by 25%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While Veigar is used as a flex-pick as we said earlier, his summoner spells will be focused on giving him a better chance to survive against enemy ambushes.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Flash<\/strong>: This allows you to have more entry and escape options in case your immobilization abilities are not on hand, or just if you want to make sure your opponent gets affected by your skill shots.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Barrier<\/strong>: Thanks to its temporary shield, this allows you to stay in the fight for longer, by denying some of the damage taken by enemy abilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alternatively, you can also pick Ignite as it can be used as a tool to finish off enemies in case they want to escape with low health, also opening a window of opportunity against enemies with lifesteal or healing abilities.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>The best items for Veigar<\/strong><\/h2>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/3RL3_w1kYypNPoaajARB0B8TT0hVxzk7x79qwRTTIew\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9XaWxkX1JpZnQvUGF0Y2hlcy8yLjUvV2lsZFJpZnRWZWlnYXJfaW5zaWRlXzMuanBn\" alt=\"League of Legends Wild Rift Veigar items\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">(Picture: Riot Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Due to his massive damage capabilities, Veigar&#8217;s items will be focused on maximizing his AP and magic penetration, increasing the impact of his abilities and lane push when using his full combo, making him a difficult enemy to contain in the mid and late game.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Luden&rsquo;s Tempest<\/strong>: Grants AP, mana and ability haste, while its passive increases the damage you deal, after collecting 100 stacks by moving and casting abilities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ionian Boots of Lucidity<\/strong>: Reduces summoner spell cooldowns by 15%, in addition to granting bonus movement speed out of combat. We recommend using them with Stasis Enchant, to make you invulnerable with its effect for a few seconds.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Archangel&#8217;s Staff<\/strong>: Grants AP, mana and ability haste, and also grants bonus ability power equal to 1% maximum mana, with a refund of 25% of mana spent.
