Teamfight Tactics<\/a> is about to enter a new cycle, since almost six months after the launch of the Reckoning Set, it’s time to say goodbye to many of its champions and traits, to welcome a new set.<\/p>\n

Loaded with dozens of changes and updates, as well as a new mechanic that will change the course of any game and composition at any time, we’ve been able to learn first-hand all the details about TFT: Gizmos and Gadgets, arriving in the League of Legends client in patch 11.22.<\/p>\n

So get ready to prepare your best strategy, and learn here about everything that awaits you in Set 6 of Teamfight Tactics: Gizmos and Gadgets.<\/p>\n

New champions and traits for Gizmos and Gadgets<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The next set for TFT: Gizmos and Gadgets will feature 58 champions to choose from, a number that has already become a tradition during the most recent sets.<\/p>\n

While some of these will be familiar faces from the current set, only undergoing a couple of changes to their traits, many of these will make their debut within the auto battler with powerful attacks and effects.<\/p>\n

Among some of the names you’ll see a lot in your games we have Warwick, Viktor, Kai’Sa, Yone, Fiora, and even the most recent addition to League of Legends, Vex, will make her TFT debut in this set.<\/p>\n

As for traits, many of these will be based on their origins within Runeterra, with classes like the Yordles, Chemtech, and Mutant being among the most relevant.<\/p>\n

However, as is usual in all sets, some champions will have certain different traits according to several of the skinlines available in League, such as the Academy, Syndicate, Enforcers, and more.<\/p>\n

Gizmos and Gadgets featured mechanic, Hextech Augments<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The biggest feature of this new set will come with its new mechanic known as the Hextech Augments,<\/a> which will be at your disposal in three different series as the game progresses.<\/p>\n

These Augments will allow you to completely turn your game thanks to the power of the  Hexcore, a new artifact that will be present on the battlefield that upon reaching rounds 1-3, 3-5 and 5-1, will present you with three random options that give you certain improvements for your current composition.<\/p>\n

In this set, players will find a total of 140 Hextech Augments randomly available. Each of these will have three tiers, which will give greater advantages according to their rarity.<\/p>\n

Some of these will have unique effects within the battlefield, while others will be focused on giving specific improvements to a certain trait, so you should be attentive to which one will be present in your game to get the most out of it.<\/p>\n

Likewise, these Hextech Augments may bring back some champion effects and even mechanics from previous sets, such as Ornn’s empowered items and the Tome of Traits, so many surprises await you when choosing these improvements.<\/p>\n

Duos queues are coming to TFT<\/strong><\/h2>\n

For the first time since the launch of Teamfight Tactics, players will have the opportunity to play in duos through the new Double Up lab.<\/p>\n

This lab will have very different rules than normal mode since here players will share health during the entire match. When either of the two players is eliminated, their life counter will reset to 1, so one more defeat will mark the end of their game.<\/p>\n

Double Up will feature the Assist Armory, with which you can gift your partner item components, gold, and other boosts at key points in the game, while you can also use the Rune of Allegiance to gift champions and items they may be holding to your partner.<\/p>\n

Everyone will get one of these at the start of the game, but you can get another via the Assist Armory. Finally, if you beat your opponent’s army before your partner beats theirs, after a short delay your surviving champions will hop onto your partner’s board to help them out, so you can really double team against everyone.<\/p>\n

Double Up will be available on the PBE on 2nd November, with a scheduled release set for patch 11.23. More details about this lab will be available soon.<\/p>\n

Little Legends and revamped items<\/strong><\/h2>\n

As revealed during the most recent TFT dev blog, new Little Legends will be available within the in-game store based on some popular League of Legends champions, the Chibis.<\/p>\n

These will have many features that will make them stand out from the rest released previously, such as special animations, unique interactions, and most importantly, boom views based on their ultimate abilities.<\/p>\n

The Chibis will not arrive only at the Convergence, since these will come from the hand of new aspects for some such as the already known Sprite, while some will make their debut within the Little Legends gallery.<\/p>\n

Finally, while this new set won’t be focused so much on the items, due to the addition of the Hextech Augments, there will be a few that will receive some improvements in this update, while a couple of these will also have a new icon and name.<\/p>\n
