Some Apex Legends players have been experiencing several bugs in Respawn’s popular Battle Royale title, even recently causing the game to get review bombed<\/a> due to some severe server issues. While the developers are surely hard at work fixing Apex Legends, it appears the game is now crashing for many players.<\/p>\n

Recent Apex Legends crashes (at least for some players) are due to a bug, caused by Epic Animated Poses when a player equips them. <\/p>\n

How to fix Apex Legends crashes<\/h2>\n

On Reddit, a user by the name of “runitback6776” created a thread<\/a> noting how someone “found out the issue behind (most of) the crashing since this update before Respawn did.”<\/p>\n

Following the post (which has seen over 3,000 upvotes), Respawn took to Twitter to share an image of the in-game announcement.<\/p>\n

Respawn states: “There’s currently an issue with animated epic poses which can cause crashes. We advise you to unequip these epic poses while our team works on a fix. Thanks, Legends!”<\/p>\n

The easiest way to stop the latest Apex Legends crashes is simply to change your Epic Animated Pose to a rare, blue one. <\/p>\n

Respawn’s “RobotHavGunz” explained to the myriad of frustrated players on Reddit that they never saw the bug during testing and neither did the QA team. <\/p>\n

RobotHavGunz further apologized to the community and noted how this fix might have merit.<\/p>\n

Respawn will release an Apex Legends patch this week to fix the ongoing issue with Epic Animated Poses.<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, the exact release date and time for a patch that should fix the Apex Legends Epic Animated Poses bug has not been revealed. <\/p>\n

For now, you can fix Apex Legends crashes simply by not using an Epic Animated Pose. Following the server issues and other bugs, this is definitely an unfortunate turn of events for the developers, who’ve had their plates full as it is.<\/p>\n
