New World<\/a> players have identified a game-breaking exploit that confers invulnerability to their characters and it’s incredibly easy to replicate. Amazon Games have confirmed that they are aware and are currently investigating the issue, however, New World players are not happy that certain players are still free to continue abusing the exploit in PvP wars.<\/p>\n

How does the New World invincibility exploit work?<\/h2>\n

The exploit is relatively easy to replicate, which is understandably why New World players are in an uproar. To abuse the bug, all players need to do is set their game to “Windowed Mode,” and then click and drag the game’s window by the title bar. By doing this, the character enters into a state of invulnerability, which lasts for as long as the player is moving the game’s window.<\/p>\n

During this state of “suspended animation,” players are unable to move or be killed. While this may not sound particularly interesting, it does allow players to stand on capture points, become invulnerable and ultimately stall PvP wars indefinitely.<\/p>\n
