Developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts have officially revealed that Apex Legends<\/a> Season 11 will be called “Escape” and now, we can mark our calendars for the highly-anticipated release date. Here’s everything we know so far about Apex Legends Season 11, from when it will release to the new Legend called Ash, the brand-new C.A.R. SMG weapon, a possible new tropical Battle Royale map, and more.<\/p>\n

When does Apex Legends Season 11 release?<\/h2>\n

With the Season 10 Battle Pass ending on 1st November, the release date for Apex Legends Season 11 is set for 2nd November 2021.<\/p>\n

No exact release time has been revealed just yet but we do know about the biggest pieces of content arriving in the new season. Let’s kick things off with the new tropical map!<\/p>\n

New tropical map coming to Apex Legends<\/h2>\n

There have been a lot of rumours about a new, tropical-themed Battle Royale map coming to Apex Legends, and now, it appears this will indeed be the case for Apex Legends Season 11.<\/p>\n

The image above appears to be teasing the new tropical map, and an official line from Respawn adds even more fuel to the fire.<\/p>\n

The line about the Apex Legends tropical map reads: “No matter how beautiful it seems, every corner of the Outlands is a dangerous place. You’d be wise to remember that.”<\/p>\n

New Apex Legends weapon: C.A.R. SMG<\/h2>\n

The C.A.R. SMG is the new weapon joining Apex Legends’ ever-growing arsenal in Season 11, adding to the list of SMGs currently in the game (R-301 and R-99).<\/p>\n

The exact stats for the C.A.R. SMG is not yet available. We do, however, expect it to have more damage per bullet than the R-301, with a slower firing rate to compensate. <\/p>\n

A bit of flavour text for the C.A.R. SMG in Apex Legends reads: “A flexible weapon, the C.A.R. SMG is the gun for when you’re ready to make a stand and become the last Legend still standing.”<\/p>\n

Apex Legends Season 11 Battle Pass and Ranked season<\/h2>\n

With Apex Legends Season 11 comes a new Battle Pass and a new Ranked season, as expected.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, there’s no information available about the new Battle Pass just yet, except for the following line from Respawn Entertainment: “Battle through Daily and Weekly Challenges to earn unique rewards like Apex Packs, XP Boosts, and skins!”<\/p>\n

Apex Legends Ash arrives in Season 11<\/h2>\n

Ash is the new legend that will arrive at the start of Season 11. She is a Simulacrum, a robot with the mind of a human. In her case, the human part is Ashleigh Reid, or Dr Reid if you will.<\/p>\n
