Riot Games is already gearing up for the release of Arcane, the new animated series<\/a> based within the League of Legends universe where we’ll get a chance to learn about the past of Vi and Jinx, placed around the sister regions of Piltover and Zaun.<\/p>\n

So, to celebrate this anticipated launch right after the crowning of a new world champion in Iceland, Riot, Netflix and Twitch have partnered up<\/a> to bring an unprecedented online event, with which content creators from around the world will be able to co-stream Arcane’s first episode through the platform.<\/p>\n

Arcane’s Global Premiere Event at Riot HQ<\/strong><\/h2>\n

According to Riot’s press release, Arcane’s world premiere on Netflix will be accompanied by a major global event at their headquarters from Los Angeles, featuring an innovative red carpet for media and streamers around the world to connect with their communities.<\/p>\n

The Global Premiere Event will be broadcast by streamers and influencers representing over 30 countries, and is open for co-streaming to all, so fans can celebrate the Arcane debut live with their communities.<\/p>\n

“When designing the event, we wanted to blend traditional entertainment with innovative, digital-first approaches that increase access for players around the world, creating something new for people to enjoy together,” said Brandon Miao, Cross-Product Experiences and Partnerships Lead, Riot Experience (XP) at Riot Games.<\/p>\n

Twitch Drops enabled during Arcane’s Global Premiere Event<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Together with this, Riot has also announced that as part of the Global Premiere Event and Arcane’s premiere co-streams, fans who tune-inTwitch will be able to receive Twitch Drops, with exclusive in-game items in Riot’s games.<\/p>\n

Some of the rewards already teased as part of the Twitch Drops will include exclusive icons, capsules, champions, and most importantly, exclusive skins such as the ones revealed today for League of Legends, based on aspects and the story of the animated series.<\/p>\n

To be able to win and claim Twitch Drops during Arcane’s Global Premiere Event, all you need to do is link your Riot Games and Twitch accounts, through the Connections dashboard<\/a> of your Twitch account settings.<\/p>\n

Here, you will have to scroll down until you find the Riot Games section, then click on the “Connect” button, and afterwards, a pop-up window will appear where you must log in with your Riot account, accept all terms, and both accounts will be linked.<\/p>\n

Once you do this, all you need to do is watch any Arcane’s co-stream with Twitch Drops enabled, to be eligible to win any of the event-exclusive rewards.<\/p>\n

“Interest in deeper storytelling from our global player base played a big part in our decision to make Arcane, so it’s only right that they will be able to watch the first episode of Arcane together as a community,” added Brandon Miao.<\/p>\n

Arcane’s World Premiere Day is scheduled to be held on 6th November at 4 pm PST, with a second broadcast slated on 7th November at 12 am PST.<\/p>\n
