With the month of October coming to a close in short order, the Call of Duty<\/a> community is getting more excited with each passing day. The dawn of a new month means that Call of Duty: Vanguard is soon releasing. The game is scheduled to launch on 5th November and has a massive amount of hype surrounding it. <\/p>\n

However, Warzone players aren’t exactly sure how to feel. While the arrival of a new game is exciting for some, others want to know what this means for the battle royale. Season 6<\/a> is set to end on 2nd November, lining up with the release of Vanguard. Although, that date seems more indicative of how Black Ops Cold War will finish its life cycle. <\/p>\n

For Warzone, players aren’t sure whether they can expect a Season 7 prior to Vanguard becoming integrated with the BR sometime in late November-early December. <\/p>\n

At this time, it doesn’t seem likely that Warzone will receive an entirely new stream of content in the month or so before it becomes integrated with Vanguard. The integration is going to introduce the Ricochet anti-cheat software, a new map in The Pacific and all of Vanguard’s weapons<\/a> and other items. <\/p>\n

It doesn’t make a ton of sense for Activision to throw an entire season’s worth of content at players during this downtime for Warzone. The leaks indicate<\/a> that there could be some kind of Reloaded update following 2nd November, which will keep Warzone in Season 6 but also deliver smaller bits of content for players waiting for the Vanguard integration. <\/p>\n

Of course, these leaks aren’t officially substantiated, so players should take them with a grain of salt. Still, it makes the most sense for Activision to release smaller updates for Warzone leading up to Vanguard Season 1 and the integration. <\/p>\n

As of the time of writing, there’s no firm date on when Vanguard Season 1 will arrive. However, when it does, Warzone will benefit greatly by receiving the Ricochet anti-cheat<\/a>, The Pacific map, a host of new weapons and whatever else Activision has up their sleeves. <\/p>\n
