{"id":23485,"date":"2021-10-20T18:05:11","date_gmt":"2021-10-20T18:05:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/jett-dash-nerf-is-a-bug-but-won-t-be-fixed-for-a-while-yet-riot-confirm"},"modified":"2024-07-19T11:13:11","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T11:13:11","slug":"jett-dash-nerf-is-a-bug-but-won-t-be-fixed-for-a-while-yet-riot-confirm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/valorant\/jett-dash-nerf-is-a-bug-but-won-t-be-fixed-for-a-while-yet-riot-confirm","title":{"rendered":"Jett dash nerf is bug but won&#8217;t be fixed for a while, Riot confirm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A strange thing happened to the all-powerful Jett with the release of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/valorant\/valorant-v3-08-patch-notes-equip-skin-levels-hide-account-level-more\">Valorant&#8217;s v3.08 update<\/a> as players discovered that not only did it take longer for the agent to equip her weapon after dashing but that strangely her Updraft had also increased in price, from 150 to 200.<\/p>\n<p>Many thought that the perenially S-tier agent had finally been given a nerf that would have brought her back down to the world that all the other agents inhabit (well, except Skye) but with nothing in the patch notes it soon became clear something weird was going on.<\/p>\n<p>And that weirdness has now been confirmed, as Riot Games has stated that both of these changes are indeed bugs, however, in an even weirder move, the developers have mentioned they don&#8217;t plan to push out a hotfix.<\/p>\n<p>Claiming that such a move would be a risk, they instead declared, through a tweet on the official Valorant account, that a possible fix <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/valorant\/valorant-episode-3-act-3-start-time-deadeye-battle-pass-patch-notes-more\">likely won&#8217;t happen until patch v3.09 which is due in two weeks alongside the launch of Episode 3 Act 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/4-dK2Wg27cQuoUSYFkqT0MzlpsTuCUmjHqwooRHpFYY\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9WYWxvcmFudC9qZXR0LmpwZw\" alt=\"Jett bug tailwind updraft Valorant fix\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Even when Jett is bugged she is still likely to be instant-locked.
