Following the success of their first collab<\/a> with the famous Japanese series, Naruto, Team Liquid has announced the release of a second apparel collection, entirely based on one of the series’ most famous clans, the Akatsuki.<\/p>\n

Shrouded in red clouds and shadow, this new limited edition drop<\/a> by the North American org is set to feature 20 pieces of high-quality, fully custom streetwear and accessories emblazoned with Akatsuki thematic.<\/p>\n

According to Travis Anderson, Global VP of Apparel and Commerce at Team Liquid, “for our sophomore Liquid x Naruto drop, we were attracted to the energy of Akatsuki, these iconic antagonists who shaped the series’ narrative.”<\/p>\n

The Liquid x Naruto Akatsuki collection’s standouts<\/a> include pieces that will showcase some of the series villains amid TL iconography, like the Tsukoyomi Itachi packable tech jacket, Akatsuki Cloud chenille pullover hoodie and the Zetsu long sleeve.<\/p>\n

“Our pieces meld the roguish, independent spirit of Akatsuki with Team Liquid’s competitive drive, resulting in a more natural collaboration than the visual contrast of red clouds and blue horses might suggest,” added Travis Anderson.<\/p>\n

As you can see above, Team Liquid also decided to form its own powerful collective with other top-tier influencers and content creators, featuring King Vader, Sonii, Taya Miller, Atikhun, Hungrybox, Ovilee May and more, to celebrate the release of this clothing capsule.<\/p>\n

“We’re very proud of this collection, and we know that fans across esports, anime and gaming will love it too,” concluded Anderson.<\/p>\n

The entire Liquid x Naruto Akatsuki collection will be available in the United States, Canada and Europe starting Friday, October 29 at 12 pm PT \/ 9 pm CEST.<\/p>\n
