The month of October has certainly ushered in a change in viral trends on social media, with creepy and eerie images and clips surfacing. Every corner of the internet is seemingly littered with clips proving how scary the world is.<\/p>\n

One such clip found its way onto the video-sharing app, TikTok, this month. While arguments have been made proving and disproving the validity of ghosts, it still makes for one riveting watch.<\/p>\n

Viral TikTok video shows ghost removing a dog’s collar<\/h2>\n

TikTok user shannyfantg<\/a> uploaded a video clip to the social media platform, TikTok, on 17th October 2021 which featured the user’s two dogs. The dogs are seen in their crates located in what is believed to be the user’s living area.<\/p>\n

While the video may appear to be just another viral animal video clip, however, as the video clip progresses, eerie events anticipate viewers. The video starts with the user’s dogs barking profusely until the barking stops suddenly.<\/p>\n

In the silence of the clip, the dogs appear to have sensed something that didn’t feel quite right. That is until one of the dogs gets flung within their holding and its collar removed.<\/p>\n

One ghostly encounter disturbs social media<\/h2>\n

Since the video was uploaded, it has amassed over 12,2 million views and over 1.3 million likes. Those who have seen the viral clip were left gobsmacked, astounded and in disbelief over the events that occurred in the clip.<\/p>\n

One TikTok comment reads, “I ain’t having a camera in my house. If this happens, I don’t want to know.” Another comment, which gained over 200,000 likes, reads, “they both got super quiet… they felt the energy.”<\/p>\n

However, there were a few users who have dispelled claims of a ghost or supernatural entity as claimed by the original poster. “You can even hear it unclick. It didn’t just fall off. That’s crazy,” one comment reads.<\/p>\n

“Collar was stuck on [the] crate when the dog turned his head, it unbuckled. The dog got startled at the collar unbuckling and jumped back. C’mon people,” another comment reads.<\/p>\n

According to the original poster, the video was captured some time ago. “This happened about a year after moving into this house. Nothing happened for almost two years, now things are happening again.”<\/p>\n

As halloween approaches you can be sure that more of these videos will go viral — because whether you believe in the supernatural or not, what most people can get onboard with is being scared, at least a little.<\/p>\n
