{"id":2355,"date":"2020-01-17T16:45:23","date_gmt":"2020-01-17T16:45:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/third-set-champions-tft"},"modified":"2024-07-21T14:18:55","modified_gmt":"2024-07-21T14:18:55","slug":"third-set-champions-tft","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/third-set-champions-tft","title":{"rendered":"What to expect from the third set of TFT champions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/tft\">Teamfight Tactics<\/a> is set to receive Set 3 in mid-March, bringing another set of 50 champions with different abilities, looks and traits to the game to once again shake up the title.<\/p>\n<p>For those unfamiliar, Teamfight Tactics is an autobattler made by Riot Games utilising the vast roster of champions available in League of Legends. The game is currently available on PC and will also be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/tft\/tft-mobile-release-and-set-3-preview-details-released\">coming to mobile platforms in March<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A video released by Riot Games explained the plans for TFT, including the mobile release also coming this March, as well as giving Summoners a glance at which champions they can expect to see by April.<\/p>\n<div data-oembed-url=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rrFfpFHsryw\">\n<div style=\"left: 0; width: 100%; height: 0; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.25%;\"><iframe allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rrFfpFHsryw?rel=0\" style=\"border: 0; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;\" tabindex=\"-1\" srcdoc=\"&lt;style&gt;*{padding:0;margin:0;overflow:hidden}html,body{height:100%}img,span{position:absolute;width:100%;top:0;bottom:0;margin:auto}span{height:1.5em;text-align:center;font:48px\/1.5 sans-serif;color:white;text-shadow:0 0 0.5em black}&lt;\/style&gt;&lt;a href=https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rrFfpFHsryw?autoplay=1&gt;&lt;img src=https:\/\/img.youtube.com\/vi\/rrFfpFHsryw\/hqdefault.jpg alt='YouTube video thumbnail'&gt;&lt;span&gt;&#9654;&lt;\/span&gt;&lt;\/a&gt;\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The names of the classes, elements, origins or traits that will be used in Set 3 are unknown yet, but the presence of champions set in futuristic settings and deep space are confirmed in the video.<\/p>\n<p>Below are all of the revealed champions and their respective skins, as well as likely additions from those collections.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>PROJECT<\/h2>\n<h3>PROJECT: Fiora<\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"17-project-fiora.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/5WBhLgw9h42Qxk2SlyuG3BDa-LVvr7CKhSWdVtvE-uE\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzLzE3LXByb2plY3QtZmlvcmEuanBn\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 354px;\" width=\"1000\" height=\"590\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Possible additions: Vi, Yi, Leona, Lucian, Yasuo, Ashe, Ekko, Zed, Katarina, Akali, Irelia, Jinx, Pyke, Warwick, Jhin, Vayne<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With such a wide pool of champions covered by this skin line, it is possible that PROJECT will be a 3-6-9 trait in the upcoming set.<\/p>\n<p>As the champions in the list are cybernetically enhanced, it is possible that this lore point will play into increased attack speed, mana gain or critical strike chance.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the champions in the list feature in other collections, so it isn&#8217;t certain how many will make it through as PROJECT champions, but Ekko, Irelia and Jhin are the only three not yet to appear in TFT.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Odyssey<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"17-odyssey-jinx.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/WgeY9zstagVzSiRgigGDRZ8qinBiAolz3GIrcGVGvKk\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzLzE3LW9keXNzZXktamlueC5qcGc\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 354px;\" width=\"1000\" height=\"590\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<h3>Odyssey Jinx<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Possible additions: Malphite, Sona, Yasuo, Kayn, Zed, Ziggs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Speaking of champions that have skins across multiple collections, Odyssey Jinx was shown in the video. During Set 1, Jinx was a Hextech Gunslinger capable of huge damage onto champions with her rocket launcher.<\/p>\n<p>Her splash art appearance indicates that the Loose Cannon will be appearing once again, but this time as her alternate&nbsp;sci-fi self. The rest of the Morning Star Crew, Malphite, Sona and Yasuo, could also be making an appearance.<\/p>\n<p>Kayn and Ziggs also appear in the alternate universe so could well appear as part of this champion type.<\/p>\n<p>Zed has already appeared across both released sets, but his Galaxy Slayer backstory within Odyssey could make for an interesting third addition for the champion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Pulsefire<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"17-pulsefire-shen.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/feUBhSHK08LZPNwCvOokpQTaLnlVhm8rUgg0YxXLttk\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzLzE3LXB1bHNlZmlyZS1zaGVuLmpwZw\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 354px;\" width=\"1024\" height=\"604\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<h3>Pulsefire Shen<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Possible additions: Caitlyn, Ezreal, Riven, Thresh, Twisted Fate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shen&#8217;s Ninja Blademaster days appear to be over as he looks to make a return to TFT in Set 3.<\/p>\n<p>While Ezreal, Shen, Thresh and Twisted Fate have appeared in either the first or second set, this would be the first appearance of Caitlyn and Riven.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Star Guardian<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"17-star-guardian-poppy.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/DsYXjedV3qP5XDt6vcfIZqZyDTqDgGtyiWKQorp1IQc\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzLzE3LXN0YXItZ3VhcmRpYW4tcG9wcHkuanBn\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 337px;\" width=\"1000\" height=\"562\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<h3>Star Guardian Poppy<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Possible additions: Ahri, Ezreal, Janna, Jinx, Lulu, Lux, Miss Fortune, Neeko, Soraka, Syndra, Rakan, Xayah, Zoe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All of the current Star Guardians have already appeared within TFT and this will be Poppy&#8217;s first showing since Set 1 where she featured as a Yordle Knight.<\/p>\n<p>If the entire third set has a space theme, the Corrupt Guardians, Rakan, Xayah and Zoe, could feature as a separate origin.
