{"id":2363,"date":"2020-01-19T15:54:59","date_gmt":"2020-01-19T15:54:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/steel-guide-spilling-the-tftea"},"modified":"2024-07-19T17:10:30","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T17:10:30","slug":"steel-guide-spilling-the-tftea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/tft\/steel-guide-spilling-the-tftea","title":{"rendered":"A guide to Steel: Spilling the TFTea"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/tft\">Teamfight Tactics<\/a>&#8216; second set of champions came with the Rise of the Elements update that also changed League of Legends&#8217; iconic Summoner&#8217;s Rift map.<\/p>\n<p>Steel is one of the rarer origins within the Rise of the Elements Teamfight Tactics set and can be used as a supporting element alongside many others in the game.<\/p>\n<p>The element bonus Steel provides is that with at least two Steel champions on the field, being reduced to below 50% health will trigger immunity to all damage for a period of time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"19-tft-steel.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/KQgnyEM3VeLTLLnkGSVssvEzIlYKnoecultmjbXcLgw\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzLzE5LXRmdC1zdGVlbC5qcGc\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 373px;\" width=\"883\" height=\"549\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<p>The bonus activates at two, three and four units, increasing immunity time with each added champion:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two = immune for two seconds<\/li>\n<li>Three = immune for three seconds<\/li>\n<li>Four = immune for four seconds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If Lux is added, she counts for two, allowing you to only have one of the other Steel champions on the field to receive the three unit bonus.<\/p>\n<p>The three possible Steel champions below with their cost, second class and stats for their ultimates listed:<\/p>\n<h2>Rek&#8217;Sai<\/h2>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"19-tft-reksai.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/RlZ978Ir4n_y6e805o3aTUVgfaHMpIQ9Jg25fbM51TU\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzLzE5LXRmdC1yZWtzYWkuanBn\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 354px;\" width=\"1024\" height=\"604\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/p>\n<h3>Steel \/ Predator<\/h3>\n<h3>Cost: 2 Gold<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ultimate:<\/strong> Furious Bite &#8211; Rek&#8217;Sai bites an enemy, dealing 250\/550\/850 true damage.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Nocturne<\/h2>\n<h3><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"19-tft-nocturne.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/A_J0L_EV32dMc9xmNXo33s1NAIxLi7ScBYOxnK6RluU\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzLzE5LXRmdC1ub2N0dXJuZS5qcGc\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 354px;\" width=\"1024\" height=\"604\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/h3>\n<h3>Steel \/ Assassin<\/h3>\n<h3>Cost: 3 Gold<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ultimate:<\/strong> (Passive) Steel Blades &#8211; every three hits Nocturne&#8217;s attack deals damage and applies on-hit effects to all adjacent units. It also heals 40% of the damage dealt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Lux<\/h2>\n<h3><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"19-tft-lux.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/fZ4yE-E73ww9OarINmIA0ygP37yU8j79GXtv-q9EP3w\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzLzE5LXRmdC1sdXguanBn\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 354px;\" width=\"1024\" height=\"604\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/h3>\n<h3>Steel \/ Elementalist<\/h3>\n<h3>Cost: 7 Gold<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Ultimate: <\/strong>Final Spark &#8211; Lux fires an elemental blast dealing 600 magic damage to all enemies in a line. If Final Spark kills a unit, Lux is refunded 50 mana.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Build Guide<\/h2>\n<p>In order to get the full four champion bonus, you will need to be lucky in finding Lux with the right element at the right time.<\/p>\n<p>As new champions are still being added to this second TFT set, it is possible that <span style=\"white-space:pre\"><span class=\"inline-image label-after skin-icon tooltips-init-complete\" data-champion=\"Cassiopeia\" data-param=\"\" data-skin=\"Eternum\" style=\"display:inline;white-space:pre;\"><span style=\"white-space:normal;\">Cassiopeia joins as she is the final Eternum skin in that collection and is not currently in the game.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"white-space:pre\"><span class=\"inline-image label-after skin-icon tooltips-init-complete\" data-champion=\"Cassiopeia\" data-param=\"\" data-skin=\"Eternum\" style=\"display:inline;white-space:pre;\"><span style=\"white-space:normal;\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"tft-cassio-eternum.jpg\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/U3fLSLXAm6BOQkns5bTDxYbD-IOfV4MxsidpKFh_6_A\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzL3RmdC1jYXNzaW8tZXRlcm51bS5qcGc\" style=\"width: 600px; height: 354px;\" width=\"1024\" height=\"604\" loading=\"lazy\"><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>For a composition with the easily-acquired Steel duo at its core, utilising the immunity with items like Redemption and Warmog&#8217;s Armor that will allow health regen that is hard for opponents to prevent.<\/p>\n<p>Nocturne, despite nerfs, is still capable of being a strong carry in the late game but is not as prominent in the dominant compositions of this meta.
