{"id":23693,"date":"2021-10-26T04:47:31","date_gmt":"2021-10-26T04:47:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/beastmode-16-walks-away-from-esports-unhappy-it-took-a-toll-on-my-mental-health"},"modified":"2024-07-19T07:33:50","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T07:33:50","slug":"beastmode-16-walks-away-from-esports-unhappy-it-took-a-toll-on-my-mental-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\/beastmode-16-walks-away-from-esports-unhappy-it-took-a-toll-on-my-mental-health","title":{"rendered":"BeastMode, 16, walks away from esports unhappy: \u201cIt took a toll on my mental health\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After only the first RLCS regional in the North American region and failing to qualify for the second, esports org Shopify Rebellion revealed the shocking news that their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\">Rocket League<\/a> player Landon &#8220;BeastMode&#8221; Konerman was leaving the team effective immediately.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re disappointed to share that as of today, Beastmode will be stepping away from Shopify Rebellion and competitive Rocket League&rdquo;, the org announced on 25th October, describing the unexpected leave as a &ldquo;setback.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Rebels entered the scene after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\/kansas-city-pioneers-rocket-league-roster-is-bought-out-by-shopify-rebellion\">buying out the Kansas City Pioneers<\/a> back in April 2021. In general I wanted to step away and leave.
