Introduced as part of the Fortnite <\/span>v18.30 update<\/span><\/a>, the Icy Grappler is a new mobility item that can be used in the battle royale. But it’s not an item you’ll find in loot crates like most items in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8.<\/span><\/p>\n

There have been a number of <\/span>changes to the map<\/span><\/a> since the Cube takeover has begun on the Fortnite island. New NPCs have popped up all over the place offering new kinds of loot to aid gamers en route to victory.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of those NPCs carries the all-new grappling item, great for swiftly moving about the battlefield. Here’s how to get the Icy Grappler in Fortnite Season 8.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fortnite Icy Grappler – How to get<\/h2>\n

The all-new Icy Grappler is a Fortnite item introduced to Chapter 2 Season 8 as part of the v18.30 update. It’s purely a mobility item, meaning it doesn’t do damage to players, but can be used to move around quickly and efficiently.<\/span><\/p>\n

In action, the Icy Grappler operates very similar to the normal Grappler, but with an added effect. The Icy Grappler gives an icy effect to your feet directly after use, giving a temporary boost to movement speed.<\/span><\/p>\n

To get the Icy Grappler, you’ll need to <\/span>find the NPC<\/span><\/a> named Fabio Sparklemane, he is found in the Apres Ski Lounge which is located in the mountains in the Southeast portion of the map. You’ll need to talk to Fabio to initiate the proceedings, then you’ll see the Icy Grappler is available for purchase for 400 Gold Bars.<\/span><\/p>\n
