Players now have the chance to play as Star Lord and command the other guardians in combat to save the galaxy once again. During players&rsquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/marvel\/how-long-is-marvel-s-guardians-of-the-galaxy-campaign\">time with the game<\/a>, they&rsquo;ll explore all of its systems, including the perk menu.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Perks are an essential part of any RPG\/single-player story campaign. They&rsquo;re a way for players to customize their experience and playstyle by unlocking different abilities\/traits to use in battle. Players unlock the ability to purchase a perk as they level Star Lord up, so they&rsquo;ll have some choices to make throughout the game.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The full list of perks is found below.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Charged Shot<\/strong>: Pressing R2 twice delivers a Charged Shot, dealing more damage and delivering Stagger to enemies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Rapid Reload<\/strong>: Negate cooldown period on overheating elemental guns and deliver an extra shot.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Consumables Magnet<\/strong>: Any drop from enemies who are 15 meters away will attract to the player.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Tactical Scan<\/strong>: Scan enemies during combat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Air Glide: Glide above targets while shooting for a brief time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Perfect Dodge: After dodging an attack, you&rsquo;ll slow down time for a brief time.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Knockdown Dash: Getting hit with a knockdown attack allows the player to dash before hitting the ground.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Super Quill Punch: After a Jet Boot lethal blow, drop Health Packs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Components Localizer: Track crafting components through the visor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Extra Health: Increase health by 25%.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Extra Shield: Increase Shield total by 50%.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Shield Restoration Delay: Regenerate Shield Points quicker during combat.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Shield Restoration Speed: Regenerate Shield Points by 33% per second.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Low Life Buff: Doubles the player&rsquo;s fire rate when under 25% health.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/Fhq7nD1fQWeytflECIqsC27gYTRgDMg82YvIwrLhMEU\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9EZXN0aW55XzIvcGFzdGVkX2ltYWdlXzAtMTYucG5n\" alt=\"Guardians of the Galaxy is a new take on the Marvel franchise.
