Riders Republic<\/a> is a new massively multiplayer sports game from Ubisoft Annecy, the same studio that developed the extreme sports game Steep. Riders Republic features various sporting activities, such as mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, wingsuit flying, and rocket wingsuiting, in which over 50 players can compete against each other.<\/p>\n

Arguably the most attractive feature of Riders Republic is its massive, single open-world map, representing a mix of real-world locations. Each location was recreated using GPS data and later integrated into a single world for players to explore or compete. But how big is Riders Republic’s map exactly?<\/p>\n

How big is Riders Republic’s map?<\/h2>\n

The Riders Republic game map stretches 250 square kilometres. It includes components of seven U.S. National Parks, including Bryce Canyon, Yosemite Valley, Sequoia Park, Zion, Canyonlands, Mammoth Mountain, and Grand Teton, meshed into a single map.<\/p>\n

Game director at Ubisoft studios in Paris Arnaud Ragot recently spoke to Channel 9 News<\/a> in Australia, speaking further on this mishmash of real locations, which took the developers several years to put together.<\/p>\n
