Football Manager 22’s full release is just mere days away, with enthusiasts already enjoying the beta of the latest sports simulator.<\/p>\n

As always, managers who are eager to jump into the world of FM22, whether experienced or veterans, are wondering the same thing early on — “who should I be scouting and signing?”<\/p>\n

We’ve mentioned it in our wonderkids article<\/a>, but part of the thrill is going in blind and finding those potential world stars on your own; however, we don’t blame you if you want to get a head start even before setting up your first save.<\/p>\n

Best young strikers in FM22<\/h2>\n

These are, in our opinion, the ten must-buy young strikers in Football Manager 2022. Of course, there are many variables at play, including your budget and style of play, but if everything aligns, you definitely shouldn’t pass on signing the following.<\/p>\n

One last thing, while most of these can fill roles outside the striker position, we believe they’re at their best, spearing the attack of any formation.<\/p>\n

Mason Greenwood – Manchester United<\/h3>\n

If you’re looking for an advanced forward that can shake up the opposition with incredible dribbling, flair, and off the ball movement, Greenwood is your best bet.<\/p>\n

A decent finisher, Greenwood isn’t an aerial threat, but if you like to play a more grounded football, you’ll find yourself with one of the best young strikers in the game.<\/p>\n

Joao Pedro – Watford<\/h3>\n

Joao Pedro is far from a reliable goalscorer with a somewhat low finishing, but what makes him a potential start for any team is that he fits the deep-lying forward role to perfection.<\/p>\n

Of course, you’ll need to teach him the ropes if you want him to become the next Karim Benzema or Roberto Firmino.<\/p>\n

Youssoufa Moukoko – Borussia Dortmund<\/h3>\n

The soon-to-be 17-year-old has been making incredible progress over at Borussia Dortmund, already amassing over 20 games as a professional in one of the toughest leagues in the world.<\/p>\n

With his age and underdeveloped stats, this one is for the long-haul, on the flip side, no club change or massive fee involved could mean he’d be also one of the easiest to sign as you start a new FM22 save. <\/p>\n

Fabio Silva – Wolverhampton<\/h3>\n

Despite his hefty price tag of £35 million back in 2020, Silva was never intended to make a huge splash right away for Wolves, however, Raul Jimenez’s long-term injury forced the 18-year-old to a regular starting spot.<\/p>\n

Initially being a striker, Silva can become an amazing attacking midfielder from both flanks, functioning as an inverse winger if you’re looking to take advantage of his goalscoring abilities.<\/p>\n

Gonçalo Ramos – Benfica<\/h3>\n

Ramos is probably one of the cheapest strikers on this list, but make no mistake, it’s not for a lack of quality. <\/p>\n

He possesses nice finishing and dribbling to be an advanced forward but can also function as a deep-lying attacker, with high stats in crucial areas like decisions, technique, and passing.<\/p>\n

Folarin Balogun – Arsenal<\/h3>\n

Balogun’s main attribute is his blistering speed alongside a high finishing stat. However, technically speaking, the Arsenal wonderkid has plenty of room for improvement.<\/p>\n

Play to his strengths, a high tempo, counter-attacking style, for example, and the New York-born forward will do wonders for your squad.<\/p>\n

Kaio Jorge – Zebre\/Juventus<\/h3>\n

The latest Brazilian to be touted as the next world star recently just signed with Juventus, great finishing, speed, and dribbling are the marks of a proper South American striker.<\/p>\n

As always, there are doubts regarding his physical attributes, but nothing that can’t be fixed with some proper development, if you’re up for the challenge.<\/p>\n
