(Picture: Xbox Game Studios)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ahead of the game&#8217;s launch, there have been no confirmed plans by developers Relic Entertainment and World&rsquo;s Edge to bring the RTS game to the <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.ageofempires.com\/t\/play-station\/130813\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PlayStation<\/a> platform. This is likely the result of the game&#8217;s exclusivity to the Microsoft\/Xbox brand that a PlayStation release wasn&#8217;t planned.<\/p>\n<p>What is more surprising is that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/video-games\/age-of-empires-4-launch-time-preload-file-size-and-pc-system-requirements\">Age of Empires 4<\/a> isn&#8217;t currently available for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and, at the moment, it doesn&#8217;t appear that there are plans to bring the game to the consoles.<\/p>\n<p>However, that hasn&#8217;t stopped people asking and the dev team has now responded.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"reddit-embed\" style=\"border: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.redditmedia.com\/r\/xboxone\/comments\/dyy9dj\/age_of_empires_4_console_release_hasnt_been_ruled\/?ref_source=embed&amp;ref=share&amp;embed=true\" width=\"640\" height=\"126\" scrolling=\"no\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>AoE devs respond to possible console port plans<\/h2>\n<p>While the developers haven&rsquo;t outright confirmed rumours of a console port, there is a glimmer of hope.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/multiplayer.it\/articoli\/age-of-empires-iv-intervista.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Multiplayer.It<\/a>, World&rsquo;s Edge Creative Director Adam Isgreen commented on the possibility of bringing Age of Empires 4 to console.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are thinking of you. As soon as we&#8217;re done managing the launch of the game on PC, we&#8217;ll start thinking about how to make it work on consoles.
