There are fewer cars ingrained into Mexican culture like the 1994 Nissan Tsuru. You can’t go more than five minutes without seeing one of these motorised easter eggs in places like Mexico City, Monterrey, or Guadalajara.<\/p>\n

Part of it is because the Nissan Tsuru was manufactured at a factory located just outside Mexico City before it was discontinued in 2017<\/a>, with taxi drivers using Nissan vehicles as their defacto means of transportation making the big metropolis home to over 65,000 of them and counting as of 2016<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the release of Forza Horizon 5<\/a>, the open-world arcade racing game developed by Playground Games has brought a carefully curated and spectacular version of Mexico to life, as the Festival makes its way back to North America following a world tour that saw it land in France, Italy, Australia and Britain. <\/p>\n

As a result, thousands of fans have petitioned the developers to add such an iconic piece of the country’s modern pop culture, even if Mexico City isn’t a part of Forza Horizon 5’s gorgeous fictional rendition of Mexico.<\/p>\n

Is the Nissan Tsuru in Forza Horizon 5?<\/h2>\n

Sadly, at least at the moment on release, the 1994 Nissan Tsuru is not available in Forza Horizon 5.<\/p>\n

This being a sort of live service game, Playground Games has naturally tons of content planned to keep the player base active, including new car packs, seasonal events, and of course, DLC expansions. <\/p>\n

It seems highly likely that the devs are listening to fans and will include the 1994 Nissan Tsuru in the near future.<\/p>\n

Despite the actual vehicle not in-game at the moment, fans have recreated the design of Mexico City’s cabs via the robust customisation system the game boasts.<\/p>\n

If you want to sport this nifty design, you can purchase the super cheap Chevy Impala Super Sport 1996 for 20,000 credits in the auto show.<\/p>\n

There you have it, while we don’t have the Tsuru yet, your dream of becoming a reckless driver with overpriced fares can still become a reality.<\/p>\n
