{"id":24555,"date":"2021-11-15T22:21:15","date_gmt":"2021-11-15T22:21:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/heroic-snatches-coach-virge-and-world-champion-violentpanda-for-rlcs-debut"},"modified":"2024-07-19T10:24:54","modified_gmt":"2024-07-19T10:24:54","slug":"heroic-snatches-coach-virge-and-world-champion-violentpanda-for-rlcs-debut","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\/heroic-snatches-coach-virge-and-world-champion-violentpanda-for-rlcs-debut","title":{"rendered":"Heroic snatches coach Virge and World Champion ViolentPanda for RLCS debut"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>European organisation Heroic is entering the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\">Rocket League<\/a> esports with a bang after announcing the pick-up of one of the hottest independent teams in the circuit.<\/p>\n<p>On 15th November, the org announced the signing of The Flying Dutchmen consisting of Thomas &#8220;ThO.&#8221; Binkhorst, Ole &#8220;oaly.&#8221; van Doorn, coach John &ldquo;Virge&rdquo; Willis and two-time World Champion Jos &#8220;ViolentPanda&#8221; van Meurs.<\/p>\n<p>ViolentPanda was a part of one of the most dominating rosters in RLCS history alongside Alexandre &#8220;Kaydop&#8221; Courant and Pierre &ldquo;Turbopolsa&rdquo; Silfver winning two consecutive World Championships in Seasons 4 and 5.<\/p>\n<p>Both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\/dignitas-and-coach-virge-part-ways-after-two-years-ahead-of-rlcs-11\">Virge<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\/rlcs-world-champ-violentpanda-departs-dignitas-after-three-years\">Panda<\/a>, two staples of the Rocket League esports scene, were let go during the offseason by renowned car soccer organisation Dignitas as results started to plateau for their incredibly stacked roster&rsquo;s expectations.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/2E-YwjZCFnyy1FXMVhuG6dvGD40COfH8-0N6pV_cW9g\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9Sb2NrZXRfTGVhZ3VlL3Bhc3RlZF9pbWFnZV8wLTYxNS5wbmc\" alt=\"rocket league, rlcs, rlcs 11, rlcs xi, 2021, 2022, season, campaign, start date, duration, calendar, teams, LAN, event, in person, location, prize pool, money, regions, asia, middle east, africa, splits, regional, major, tickets, heroic, violentpanda, coach virge, world champion\" width=\"1024\" height=\"556\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">The all-Dutch team will be looking to finish the job in the Fall Split and sneak into the Stockholm LAN now with an org backing them up in Heroic. (Picture: Heroic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Coach Virge, regarded as one of the best to ever do it, revealed he stuck around DIG to keep working with Panda. &ldquo;I like ViolentPanda a lot. To work with him, I had to be on Dignitas. So I stuck around a lot longer than I would&rsquo;ve&rdquo;, the American coach stated as the duo revealed their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/rocket-league\/virge-and-violentpanda-to-stick-together-for-rlcs-11\">intentions to keep working together<\/a> now under the independent team, The Flying Dutchmen.<\/p>\n<p>The Dutchmen recruited other Dutch free agents in Oaly and ThO who were released from Wolves Esports and Guild respectively over the course of the summer.
