Call of Duty fans had been left in the dark ahead of the Launch Weekend as to where they would be able to watch the debut games for the league.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlg.com\/call-of-duty\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">a link to MLG.com<\/a> was given as the place to catch the games but it now likely that this will simply host the YouTube stream in a similar way to Riot Games&#8217; own system that hosts Twitch and YouTube streams for their numerous global leagues and World Championship events.<\/p>\n<p>Call of Duty fans can go <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/codleague\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">www.youtube.com\/codleague<\/a> for all of the CDL action going forward, while Overwatch will be at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/overwatchleague\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">www.youtube.com\/overwatchleague<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, Google Cloud will serve as the preferred provider for Activision Blizzard&#8217;s game hosting infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Early estimates priced the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/call-of-duty\/cdl-media-rights-estimated-to-be-worth-24m-a-season\">media rights for the CDL at &#36;24m per season<\/a>, but there have been no figures given out publicly since those rumours emerged.<\/p>\n<p>StarCraft II will operate under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/starcraft-2\/esl-pro-tour-sc2-confirmed-three-years\">the new ESL Pro Tour this year<\/a> so will not be bound under this broadcast agreement despite Blizzard being its developer.<\/p>\n<p>YouTube has been making strides into esports via content creators, signing 100 Thieves&#8217; <span class=\"st\">Jack &#8220;CouRage&#8221; Dunlop and <\/span>Rachel &ldquo;Valkyrae&rdquo; Hofstetter over from Twitch in recent months.
