Out of all of the baby Pokémon in existence, Togepi is among the most popular. The egg Pokémon was first made popular in the anime series, where Misty kept one throughout her travels. As the franchise grew, Game Freak gave more attention to the Pokémon, giving it a third evolution in Generation IV. <\/p>\n

This evolution was Togekiss, who is now one of the strongest Pokémon in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl<\/a>, mostly thanks to its new Fairy typing. However, players weren’t sure if Togekiss was even going to be usable in the new Sinnoh remakes. Togepi wasn’t available in the original Diamond and Pearl, only in Platinum.<\/p>\n

Well, the good news is that players can acquire a Togepi fairly easily in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The question now is, how do players go about finding this Togepi. <\/p>\n

Catching Togepi in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl<\/h2>\n

The first step you will need to take to acquire the Togepi is gain access to the Grand Underground. This is done by beating the Eterna City Gym Leader, Gardenia. Once you’ve done that, you will acquire the Explorer’s Kit and can go underground. <\/p>\n

From here, you want to make your way to Hearthome City, which is the nearest city you can find Togepi in. In the city, you want to use your Explorer’s Kit to go underground. Underneath the surface, you’ll need to find the Dazzling Cave, Fountainsprint Cave or Stargleam Cavern. <\/p>\n

After you’ve gone into any of those three locations, you can exit the room and see if you encounter a wild Togepi above ground. If you don’t, then you’ll need to go back into the caves and repeat the process until you encounter the Togepi you’re looking for. The Pokémon has a low spawn rate, so this could take some time. Togepi can also be found roaming around the caves but this is a small chance. <\/p>\n

Eventually, you will find a Togepi and earn the right to catch it. Once you have it, you can go about evolving into Togetic and then Togekiss in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. <\/p>\n
