343 Industries surprised the Halo community when it released the multiplayer component of Halo Infinite<\/a> in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Xbox<\/a> this month. As Halo Infinite’s multiplayer provided players with a litany of challenges and matchmaking types to get involved in, there are also several achievements to earn.<\/p>\n

One of these achievements, ‘Slaying with Style’, is tied to earning a Mythic Medal which presents another challenge of its own. If you have yet to be rewarded with this achievement or have no clue what a Mythic Medal is, this guide will detail all the information you need to acquire it.<\/p>\n

What is the ‘Slaying with Style’ achievement in Halo Infinite?<\/h2>\n

The achievement, ‘Slaying with Style’, linked to the Mythic medal, needs to be rewarded when players earn the elusive Mythic Medal from a matchmade game. What makes this confusing is that the medal itself doesn’t exist in-game.<\/p>\n

However, True Achievements have explained the confusion around this achievement as well as detailing how players can earn this achievement.<\/p>\n

How to earn the Mythic Medal in Halo Infinite?<\/h2>\n

According to a post on the True Achievements<\/a> page, the Mythic Medal isn’t a medal but rather a category of medals players earn in-game. This group of medals “are broadcasted in the kill feed when achieved” and “are distinctly recognised by their red colour palette”.<\/p>\n

There are several Mythic medals players can achieve in Halo Infinite, which are as follows:<\/p>\n

  • Overkill<\/strong>: eliminating four enemies back-to-back<\/li>\n
  • Running Riot<\/strong>: eliminating 15 or more enemies without dying<\/li>\n
  • Ninja<\/strong>: eliminating an enemy by jumping and backsmacking them<\/li>\n
  • Fastball<\/strong>: eliminating an enemy using the blast impact from a thrown grenade (not the explosion itself)<\/li>\n
  • Perfection<\/strong>: winning a game having 15 or more kills without dying<\/li>\n
  • Quigley<\/strong>: using a single round from the S7 Sniper to eliminate two or more enemies<\/li>\n
  • Remote Detonation<\/strong>: eliminating an enemy by using a grenade<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    For players to earn any of these medals right now is through the Bot Bootcamp playlist<\/a>, which places players in teams of four against four AI players\/bots. Bot Bootcamp can be accessed from the matchmaking playlist screen in multiplayer<\/a> mode.<\/p>\n

    While this workaround will reward players with the ‘Slaying with Style’ achievement, it specifically states that it needs to be done in a “matchmade game” and against human players.<\/p>\n
