When facing the Pokémon League Champion Cynthia, players have been stuck on a number of her team members. From the nasty Spiritomb to the formidable Garchomp<\/a>, players are finding it tough to become the champion in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl<\/a>. However, one aspect of Cynthia’s team that gets overlooked is the incredible Milotic she possesses. <\/p>\n

Milotic is one of the rarest Pokémon in the entire franchise. It evolves from Feebas, one of the most notoriously difficult to catch Pokémon. Although, thanks to its tremendous design and beauty, Milotic is desired by many Pokémon fans. This desire doesn’t help them in the battle with Cynthia, though, as her Milotic can decimate teams if not properly prepared for. <\/p>\n

Milotic’s weaknesses in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl<\/h2>\n

Right off the bat, Milotic is a straight Water-type Pokémon. This means that it’s weak to the standard weaknesses of a Water-type, which includes Grass and Electric. Even if you picked Turtwig at the start of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and have a Torterra in the final fight, that doesn’t help much. Torterra is a Ground-type as well as a Grass-type, meaning Milotic’s attacks do neutral damage. <\/p>\n

The best option for you to use against Milotic is an Electric-type. One of the best choices is Luxray, as you can find a Shinx extremely early in Sinnoh. You could also use a Magnezone, which also carries the Steel-type. <\/p>\n

If you don’t have an Electric-type on your team, then you might be relegated to using a Pokémon that knows an Electric-type move, such as Thunderbolt. This TM can be purchased in the Veilstone City Department Store for only 3,000 dollars. <\/p>\n

However, if you’d rather use a Grass-type to take on Milotic, then Roserade is likely your best bet. Roserade can learn a number of strong Grass moves, like Energy Ball<\/a> and Giga Drain. Roserade can also tank some Special Defense moves, which is what Milotic likes to use. <\/p>\n

All in all, using a standard Grass or Electric-type Pokémon against Milotic is the best choice but Pokémon that know a move of that type are also effective. <\/p>\n
