Out of all of the Pokémon in the entire franchise, Feebas might just be the toughest to catch. While Pokémon like Munchlax from the original Diamond and Pearl games are incredibly rare, Feebas has always been a near-impossible encounter year after year. The same is true with Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl<\/a>, as Feebas takes gruellingly long to catch. <\/p>\n

However, that’s not even the only issue with Feebas. Once players catch it, they face another challenging task of trying to evolve it into Milotic<\/a>, which doesn’t happen by level-up or with stone. Instead, Feebas has two evolution methods, both of which take an annoyingly long time. Below, players can see those two methods of evolving Feebas. <\/p>\n

The first method of evolving Feebas is the simplest. This doesn’t mean it’s easy, however, as you’ll need to go digging in the Grand Underground. To evolve Feebas, it needs to be holding a Prism Scale. This item is only found in the underground through digging at gleaming locations on the walls. <\/p>\n

The Prism Scale is a rare encounter by digging, so it could take you hours to find it. If you don’t want to go this route, which relies solely on luck, you can go the longer but more sure-fire way of evolving Feebas. This is done by maxing out its beauty stat. <\/p>\n

To see a Pokémon’s beauty stat, you can go to their summary and keep scrolling through the tabs until you see a shape with the stats like beauty, coolness, etc. To evolve Feebas into Milotic, the beauty stat needs to be maxed out. <\/p>\n

In order to max out that stat, you need to feed the Feebas dry poffins. Poffins can be made by players in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl to increase friendship and also max out stats like beauty. Beauty poffins consist of blue and dry-tasting berries, which you can find out in the world of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. <\/p>\n

Once you’ve fed Feebas enough of those poffins, it will evolve into Milotic automatically. Either way is challenging, so it depends on if you want to get lucky with the Prism Scale or take the time to make poffins. <\/p>\n
