The announcement of Fire Emblem’s Byleth<\/a> may have disappointed some, but there’s plenty to get excited about in the latest update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate<\/a>.  <\/p>\n

The Fire Emblem: Three Houses character is playable in both male and female versions, sporting a total of four weapons from a lance, axe, whip, and bow.  <\/p>\n

As is customary, there’s also a new stage for Byleth in Garreg Mach Monastery, which combines four areas from the hub world in Fire Emblem: Three Houses and features hazardous obstacles like falling chandeliers.  <\/p>\n

There’s also eleven new Fire Emblem music tracks and a new spirit board featuring the leaders from Three Houses.<\/p>\n

If you’re looking for something outside of Fire Emblem’s world, there’s a range of new Mii Fighter costumes; including outfits inspired by Cuphead, Assassin’s Creed, Mega Man, and Rayman’s terrifying Rabbids. <\/p>\n

The release of Byleth also means the second Fighter’s Pass is now available to pre-order, which will feature six new fighters although it’s unclear who they’ll be (Crash Bandicoot<\/a>, perhaps?) <\/p>\n
