The Dragon-type has always been one of the most powerful in the Pokémon franchise. Pokémon like Garchomp<\/a>, Dragonite and Rayquaza have reigned supreme in the series for decades because of their dominant typing. While Fairy Pokémon nerfed them slightly, they’re still one of the top options in any game. <\/p>\n

In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl<\/a>, the same is true. However, there are several ways to make them even stronger in Sinnoh. One of the ways is to teach them the move Draco Meteor. This is arguably the strongest Dragon-type move ever created and players will want their best Dragon Pokémon to learn it. <\/p>\n

Below, players can find out how to do just that. <\/p>\n

Learning Draco Meteor in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl<\/h2>\n

To start, you’ll need to have found the TM100 for Rock Climb and defeated the Snowpoint City Gym. This gives you access to use the HM for Rock Climb outside of battle and begin scaling up mountains using a wild Bidoof. <\/p>\n

With the seventh Gym badge in your possession, you’ll want to fly to Celestic Town and then start heading east. This will require you to use the Defog HM. Once on the route east of Celestic Town, you want to keep going farther until you reach a wall you can Rock Climb down. It’s right next to a green-haired trainer and next to a bridge and some stairs that lead to two trainers running in a circle. <\/p>\n

You want to use Rock Climb to scale down the rocks and then use it again to go back up another set of rocks. This will bring you to a battle with a purple-haired trainer. Battle them and then go north to find a house. This is Grandma Wilma’s house and she will teach one of your Dragon-type Pokémon the Draco Meteor move. <\/p>\n

This move is only teachable to Dragon-types and can only be used once, so be careful which Pokémon you teach it to. You can wait until you get either Dialga <\/a>or Palkia or you could use it on a Pokémon like Garchomp, Kingdra <\/a>or Dragonite. Either way, you’ll have a 150 base power Dragon-type move that has 90 accuracy at your disposal. <\/p>\n
