It’s been an exciting season thus far in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team<\/a> with a slew of promotions already having featured in the popular game mode. Familiar re-editions like Road to the Knockouts<\/a> have dropped, as well as first-time events like Adidas Numbers Up<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It’s now time for another new promotion with FUT Versus now live in-game. The promotion is replacing FUTMAS and FUT Freeze<\/a> events from previous years of FIFA Ultimate Team and offers two teams of special cards.<\/p>\n

Here’s everything you need to know about the FIFA 22 FUT Versus promotion as the first batch of players is now in packs.<\/p>\n

How do FUT Versus cards work?<\/h2>\n

FUT Versus will release two teams of players over a two-week period. One team will be labeled the ‘Verus Fire’ team, and the other will be the ‘Versus Ice’ team.<\/p>\n

Versus Fire and Versus Ice teams will be the same players, however, each version will receive different boosts. <\/em>Versus Ice players could have 5* skill moves, while Versus Fire players might receive 5* weak foot boosts or other similar abilities.<\/p>\n

FUT Versus Fire items will be included in the pool of Ultimate Team pack items until Monday, 13th December at 6 pm GMT, when they will be replaced with the corresponding Versus Ice version.<\/p>\n
