Unfortunately, Warzone Error Code 38 is back, an issue that has been troubling players since the release of Modern Warfare and continues to reemerge from time to time in Warzone.<\/p>\n

And with the Warzone Pacific update, the annoying error is back to haunt players once again, and if you are among its victims, you are probably wondering how to fix Error Code 38 in Warzone Pacific.<\/p>\n

Luckily for you, to solution exists and it is rather easy to implement. Here’s what you need to do.<\/p>\n

How to fix Error Code 38 in Warzone Pacific<\/h2>\n

Error Code 38 is an old issue dating back to the Modern Warfare era, as Warzone essentially shares the game client with the 2019 Call of Duty game.<\/p>\n

This error code prevents players from joining a match or in some cases, it completely stops the game from loading.<\/p>\n

It usually appears when there’s an update for the game and that update hasn’t been downloaded completely or installed properly, leading to invalid installation. For example, if your internet connection breaks during the update or if your system was turned down during the process of installation.<\/p>\n

In both of these cases, the first thing you need to do is to check if your game is up to date.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For Battle.net<\/strong>, simply click on the Cog (Options) icon next to the “Play” button, and select “check for updates”. If the installation wasn’t properly executed, you should also perform the “Scan and repair” action.<\/p>\n

For consoles<\/strong>, do the following:<\/p>\n

  1. Close Warzone Pacific.<\/li>\n
  2. Head to your Game Library \/ My Games and Apps.<\/li>\n
  3. Find Warzone Pacific<\/li>\n
  4. Select the “Options” button<\/li>\n
  5. Press the “Check for Update” option (PlayStation) or “Manage Game” then scroll down to “Downloads” (Xbox)<\/li>\n
  6. Install the update if it is available<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This should fix Warzone Pacific and you should be able to play the game without Error Code 38 appearing again.<\/p>\n
