Steel Wool Studios are back at the helm of what promises to be another terrifying experience in Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach. The game will feature familiar characters and gameplay mechanics players will remember from previous games, it will welcome additional features, new locations and a new protagonist breathing new life into the franchise.<\/p>\n

First announced during the PlayStation State of Play<\/a> Showcase in October 2021, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach will be arriving soon to PlayStation and PC in time for the holiday season. When will Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach release?<\/h2>\n

The upcoming survival horror game from Steel Wool Studios, Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach, is scheduled for release on 16th December 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam<\/a>. Additional platform releases will happen sometime after the game’s initial release. According to the PlayStation Store<\/a> website, the game will release at 10 am GMT+2.<\/p>\n

Gameplay details<\/h2>\n

This survival horror game takes place following the events of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted. According to Executive Producer, Ray McCaffrey, players will take control of Gregory, a young boy who unfortunately got trapped inside Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex.<\/p>\n

As Gregory, players must do their best to survive the night inside the shopping mall while evading the animatronics that comes to life. As you’re searching for a way out, you will uncover the mysteries and learn the truth about the Pizzaplex if you wish to stay alive until dawn.<\/p>\n

Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach features<\/h2>\n

Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach is a single-player experience in which players will need to adapt to survive the Pizzaplex. Players will be surprised to know that they will be getting a familiar ally, Freddy Fazbear himself, to help them overcome the horrific threats that are hunting you down. Players should also note that Gregory does have a limited amount of stamina which will force players to carefully consider when it’s best to run, crawl and hide.<\/p>\n

Fazbear will provide players with a range of useful advice and tips that will help them remain alive until morning. From shortcuts to tips and enemy warnings, you will need to strategise every move using Fazbear’s information to stay undetected. However, players can only rely on Fazbear for a limited time as he has a certain amount of power that once depleted, he will need to be charged at the various recharging stations available.<\/p>\n

While the Pizzaplex may be massive in size, this means that players have ample hiding spots to find and plenty of security cameras to access via your Fazwatch device. This allows players to map out their path around the Pizzaplex and interact with various objects to divert attention while making a quick escape.<\/p>\n

There are also weapons Gregory can utilise to neutralise enemies like the Faz Cam and Fazblaster if you are spotted. The Faz Cam is a stunning device that when activated, can shock enemies within the area of effect (AoE), giving you enough time to evade the animatronics. However, the Faz Cam does have a limited amount of stuns and much like Freddy Fazbear, the Faz Cam will need to be recharged before it can be used again.<\/p>\n

The Fazblaster is a weapon that players can use to keep enemies at bay by landing headshots for the weapon to be useful. The Fazblaster also comes with unlimited ammunition, so players wouldn’t have to worry about wasting ammo or looking for more should it run out.<\/p>\n

Speaking of enemy threats, there are S.T.A.F.F. bots that Gregory will need to steer clear of as they alert the animatronics of your location if you are spotted. Additionally, the Pizzaplex has a security guard dressed in a bunny costume and three animatronics, Roxy, Chica and Monty, installed to relentlessly hunt you down by any means necessary.<\/p>\n

While the night continues, these animatronics will evolve forcing you to be more strategic if you wish to survive the night. There are plenty of locations that can make for good hiding spots however, staying too long in one place could lead to your demise.<\/p>\n

PC system requirements for Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach?<\/h2>\n

Players will be surprised to know that there are system requirements to run Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach on your PC. These requirements will certainly terrify your graphics card but they won’t help you outrun the animatronics.<\/p>\n
