Warzone Pacific’s<\/a> 1.50 update is now live and with it, one of the most important things since the release of the battle royale – the Ricochet anti-cheat system PC kernel-level driver<\/a> that would hopefully put a stop to the lingering issue with cheaters in Call of Duty’s battle royale.<\/p>\n

The update also nerfed one of Vanguard’s most popular assault rifles in Warzone Pacific, the Automaton<\/a>, and fixed a few annoying bugs and other minor issues.<\/p>\n

But, as it usually goes with patches and bug fixes, fixing some bugs often breaks something else, and this time around some Warzone players have spotted that the Kar98k<\/a> was accidentally modified and it now acts as a semi-out rifle.<\/p>\n

The Kar98k (Modern Warfare’s version) is for almost two years now one of the most dominant sniper\/marksman rifles in Warzone.<\/p>\n

The weapon packs a big punch while being relatively light, easy to handle, and extremely precise. The combination of high power, range, and mobility is what makes it so great in Warzone; it’s the perfect weapon for roaming around the big maps like Verdansk and Caldera.<\/p>\n

And from today, the Kar98k is even more broken, as players have noticed that the weapon’s fire rate was boosted and it now behaves almost like it has a semi-auto mode.<\/p>\n

The bug (or at least we hope it’s a bug) was first spotted by a member of the KARNAGE Clan, KRNG Depv, who shared the video shortly after the patch went live, showcasing the “improved” fire rate of the rifle.<\/p>\n
