We all that Call of Duty: Warzone has been plagued by cheaters<\/a>, and this continued with the release of Warzone Pacific Season 1<\/a>. On 15th December 2021, however, things changed, and it might just go down in the history books as the day Caldera<\/a> became a cheater-free zone, even on PC. <\/p>\n

This is when the Ricochet anti-cheat system became fully active, including the kernel-level driver<\/a> for those on PC. <\/p>\n

With the anti-cheat system now fully active, it appears that Warzone cheaters are getting booted out of the game in droves.<\/p>\n

While no exact numbers are available at the time of writing, players are reporting<\/a> that their recent experience in Caldera is one without any cheaters or hackers.<\/p>\n

The response from fans following the Ricochet anti-cheat system becoming fully active has been extremely positive. But what about the cheaters? How do they feel, and should we really care?<\/p>\n

Tears of Warzone Pacific cheaters everywhere<\/h2>\n

After several months of cheaters ruining the Warzone experience, as well as the first few weeks of Warzone Pacific Season 1, we really can’t be empathetic towards these individuals.<\/p>\n

Instead, we might just get an old Victorian bathtub to bathe in their tears. Speaking of tears, Reddit user “jamcowl” has showcased some comments from cheaters crying on cheat forums, and it is glorious.<\/p>\n

The thread is aptly entitled “I’m salting my popcorn with the tears of cheaters crying on cheat forums…<\/a>” and the image inside is simply hilarious.<\/p>\n

It appears that even after going to extreme lengths, such as purchasing a new PC, Warzone cheaters are getting absolutely wrecked by Ricochet.<\/p>\n

As we all salt our popcorn with the tears of Warzone cheaters and hackers, one can’t help but wonder when, or if, these cheat creators will find a way around Ricochet.<\/p>\n

Maybe, just maybe, Warzone will become a cheater-free environment, which could be the best thing to ever happen to the battle royale title.<\/p>\n
