FIFA 22<\/a> may well be in the midst of Winter Wildcards<\/a>, its most enjoyable promo yet, but those cards barely hold a candle to the ICONs. Those retired legends who make up some of the highest-rated players in the game.<\/p>\n

Released in packs and periodically as Squad Building Challenges, the most recent trio of players to be given a drop through the latter is Carles Puyol, Gianfranco Zola, and George Best<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All three players have seen their Mid-ICON cards released and while Best is probably the most meta pick, Puyol and Zola are still worth having a look at.<\/p>\n

Puyol’s Mid Icon card is a beast, only let down slightly by his less-than-impressive pace stats.<\/p>\n
