Rocket League<\/a> freestyling group, The Pulse Clan, is walking away from the esports scene for the time being. <\/p>\n

The long-time club has been creating content ever since the car soccer video game was released and while their leap into esports was a step in the right direction, it still might’ve been taken a little too soon.<\/p>\n

“Contrary to popular belief within the Rocket League community, we aren’t an organization. Although we’re the oldest standing team in the Rocket League scene… we are and continue to be mostly funded by our own events, projects & videos”, leaving the lack of sponsorships to blame for their short tenure in the RLCS.<\/p>\n

After picking up the former Alke roster<\/a> to play under the Pulse banner in mid-November, the Clan has officially released all players, coaches and managers from their contract only two months later.<\/p>\n

The squad of Joshua “Ballerrees” Tng, Louis Christian “LCT” Thamrun, Max “Maxeew” Ng and coach Gabríel “OSM” Sindri Benediktsson is looking for a new home and The Pulse Clan is reportedly already in talks with potential suitors, according to coach OSM.<\/p>\n

This roster was quite successful prior to the team signing with Pulse and continued pummeling the competition whilst repping the black and yellow banner, winning their third regional in a row during the Fall Split.<\/p>\n

Due to their location, the top four teams in both APAC North and APAC South would battle it out for the single APAC spot in the Sweden LAN Major which Pulse came up short for being clean swept in the Grand Finals by Tokyo Verdy.<\/p>\n

Failing to travel to the LAN and get more eyes on the Clan, views alone might not have been able to pay the well-accomplished roster who is now looking for better representation. Hopefully, they do so in time before the Winter Split kickoff which is right around the corner.<\/p>\n
