Rocket League<\/a> pro Braxton “Allushin” Lagarec is stepping on the brakes after career full of accomplishments fueled by consistency, an end that is categorized as abrupt by the scene.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old is retiring from competitive play effective immediately despite hitting his peak performance during the 21\/22 RLCS Fall Split where he led FaZe Clan to their first-ever Regional Championship and put a helluva show in the Sweden LAN, finishing Top 4 in the world.<\/p>\n

Despite all that, FaZe was reportedly looking to replace the veteran with a younger mechanical rocketeer in Spacestation’s Caden “Sypical” Pellegrin who is still to make the move to the red, black and white org.<\/p>\n

Allushin, however, will not be leaving the scene altogether as he will be taking a coaching gig over at the rejuvenated Team Envy alongside the four-time World Champion Pierre “Silfver” Turbopolsa and their newest signing, young prodigy Andrés “Dreaz” Jordan<\/a>. Allu played for the Envy organisation for four months back in 2020.<\/p>\n

Sypical is looking to take FaZe to that next level despite himself falling short of a trip to Sweden, losing the tiebreaker match against Complexity in an all-time classic. <\/p>\n

Despite this fact, Syp had been the hottest free agent entering the first transfer window of the season, hence Allushin being pushed out of the starting job. It is unknown if Allu was offered to join other rosters before deciding on becoming a coach.<\/p>\n

On or off the pitch, however, Allu and company are expected to make some damage in the league with one of the most dangerous and threatening line-ups in the entire world, there is literally a revenge arc unfolding before our very eyes in Team Envy.<\/p>\n
