The wait is finally over for Rainbow Six fans, as Rainbow Six Extraction is releasing on 20th January 2022.<\/p>\n

This tactical co-op first-person shooter is a spin-off of Rainbow Six Siege, in which you and other players will join forces in an effort to overcome an alien invasion.<\/p>\n

Rainbow Six Extraction is a PvE co-op experience for squads of up to three players, where you and your teammates are taking roles as one of the 18 operators from Siege<\/a> and going on dangerous-but-exciting missions, known as “incursions”.<\/p>\n

On these missions, you will need to complete three randomly selected objectives (out of 12 available), while fighting your way through dangerous hordes of aliens known as the “Archaeans<\/a>“.<\/p>\n

Rainbow Six Extraction is priced at $39.99<\/a>, which is a fair price, but you can also play it for “free” and here’s how.<\/p>\n

If you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber and you are interested in playing Rainbow Six Extraction, we have some excellent news for you.<\/p>\n

Microsoft has confirmed that Rainbow Six Extraction will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch, which means that when the game launches on 20th January, you will be able to play Rainbow Six Extraction without paying the full price for it, provided you are subscribed to Xbox Game Pass.<\/p>\n

“When it releases on 20th January 2022, Xbox Game Pass members can jump into this intense, thrilling, and unpredictable PvE co-op experience,” reads the official Xbox announcement.<\/p>\n

If you are only subscribed to the PC version of Game Pass, you will also be able to play the game at launch via this platform.<\/p>\n

Rainbow Six Extraction will be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate when it releases, and if you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you will also be able to play the game via Xbox Cloud Gaming, which means even on your mobile device!<\/p>\n

Finally, alongside the release of Rainbow Six Extraction, on 20th January Rainbow Six Siege will also become available with PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.<\/p>\n

This means that if you play both games via Game Pass, you will be able to unlock the United Front bundle<\/a> in Rainbow Six Siege and Rainbow Six Extraction.<\/p>\n

So there you have it, on the Rainbow Six Extraction release date of 20th January 2022, both Extraction and Siege will be available on PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass!<\/p>\n
