As is often the case, leaks of future characters for Epic Games’ battle royale are always met with immense excitement, thanks in part to the enormous wave of content that arrived in Fortnite<\/a> as part of Chapter 3 Season 1.<\/p>\n

Now, with the prominent presence of Spider-Man on the map, as rewards of this season’s Battle Pass<\/a>, and even in some exclusive skins based on No Way Home, many players are eagerly awaiting the arrival of more characters from the Marvel universe.<\/p>\n

Fortnite is expected to feature more Spider-Man characters<\/h2>\n

According to HYPEX, a famous Fortnite leaker and content creator, there are now several indications suggesting that Mary Jane and the Green Goblin are the next two characters to join the battle royale’s roster.<\/p>\n

In a Twitter post on 9th January through his verified account<\/a>, HYPEX announced three NPCs are currently set to spawn at the Daily Bugle area. Accordingly, each character will also have a specific role that will impact gameplay in this area, heading into the second half of Fortnite Season 1.<\/p>\n

For example, there are reports that Mary Jane will be in charge of selling a new exotic or mythical object, namely “an Infinite Webshooter for 400 gold.” Followingly, players might have the chance to fly around the map without limitations.<\/p>\n

Mary Jane is expected to be joined by the infamous Green Goblin, whose appearance was already rumoured after animations and art featuring The Foundation surfaced online. In the leaked content, we saw a glider similar to the one used by the Green Goblin in the Spider-Man comics and movies. However, details about his role are still unclear.<\/p>\n

The Green Goblin and Mary Jane might not be the only characters set to appear in the game. Considering earlier comments made by Epic Games, the developers confirmed more friends and enemies of the arachnid superhero are also on their way to Fortnite.<\/p>\n

Despite this, we must take this rumour with a pinch of salt since Epic Games hasn’t released an official statement yet. However, it might be a matter of days before we know for sure what awaits us around our friendly neighbour, Spider-Man.<\/p>\n
