Death Stranding Director’s Cut is coming to PC. The definitive edition of Hideo Kojima’s latest game was first released in September 2021 for console players, and around half a year later PC gamers will finally have a chance to experience all the improvements added to Director’s Cut.<\/p>\n

Director’s Cut brings a slew of improvements and new content to the original game, and it is well worth your time to re-experience the game even if you’ve played it already.<\/p>\n

Interestingly enough, Kojima himself (who is Death Stranding’s game director) doesn’t really like the name “Director’s Cut” for this version of the game, as it implies that something was taken out of the game when it was first released, which is not the case here.<\/p>\n

Rather, all the new content and improvements are developed after the game’s release. Some are features and content which were not ready on time for the original release, and others are improvements added based on player feedback.<\/p>\n

505 Games, Death Stranding’s publisher for PC, announced the PC version of Director’s cut in early January 2022, stating that it is set to be released in Spring 2022.<\/p>\n

And now we have an exact release date confirmed – Death Stranding Director’s PC is coming out on 30th March 2022.<\/p>\n

Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be available simultaneously on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.<\/p>\n
