The mode has made a return in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/fortnite\/fortnite-v19-20-patch-notes-downtime\">Fortnite v19.20 update<\/a> and has introduced a bunch of new challenges associated with it.<\/p>\n<p>In Close Encounters LTM, you can use only Shotguns, and Jetpacks are available to loot, and the match starts at a normal pace before it speeds up as the game progresses. (Picture: Epic Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Here is the list of all the Close Encounters LTM challenges available in Fortnite 19.20, along with the rewards you can grab by completing them.<\/p>\n<h3>Quests<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Eliminate two player opponents within 30 seconds of each other in Close Encounters (0\/1) &#8211; 12,000 XP<\/li>\n<li>Get an elimination with ten or fewer players remaining in Close Encounters (0\/1) &#8211; 14,000 XP<\/li>\n<li>Deal damage to opponents from above in Close Encounters (0\/100) &#8211; 10,000 XP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Bonus Goals<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete three &#8220;Close Encounters&#8221; Quests (0\/3) &#8211; 18,000 XP&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/J3xEYdBGfGNpY6Ii8gwtLog6ykcxRw1nk01IVJbP3iQ\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9Gb3J0bml0ZS8xOS4yMC9VbnRpdGxlZC5wbmc\" alt=\"Untitled.png\" width=\"1024\" height=\"577\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Close Encounters LTM is now available in Fortnite v19.20. This is a great opportunity for you to grab a huge amount of XP easily in order to max out the battle pass and earn a ton of in-game items for free.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, the developers have also added a brand new POI in the game called Covert Cavern with a new boss known as Gunnar.
