With January already behind us, EA Sports is slowly but surely rolling out new Player of the Month FUT cards for players to obtain.<\/p>\n

For the Serie A POTM, the selected player is somewhat of a strange pick, as it comes from a relatively weak Italian side. Furthermore, the player in question is a silver card in his base form.<\/p>\n

Who are we talking about? None other than Giacomo Raspadori, Sassuolo’s striker that dazzled critics and fans alike in January.<\/p>\n

Despite his team winning only one of their four Serie A matches, Raspadori was instrumental in Sassuolo obtaining five points during January. Two goals in their win against Empoli and one more to draw vs Torino were enough to seal his POTM win.<\/p>\n

Individually, Raspadori is due for a breakthrough, most likely leaving Sassuolo in the summer, as powerhouse teams like Juventus have already enquired about his services during the January transfer window. <\/p>\n

In his 23 matches this season (only 19 as a starter), Giacomo Raspadori has contributed with a total of seven goals and three assists, a decent tally for an unproven young talent that’s playing for a mid-table squad. <\/p>\n

Raspadori is so unproven that in FIFA 22, his base card is a Silver one, boasting a relatively low 74 OVR, making it nearly useless for players looking to build the strongest possible FIFA Ultimate Team possible.<\/p>\n
