Genshin Impact 2.5 Special Program livestream<\/a> detailed all the exciting new content Travelers can look forward to on 16 February 2022. The update marks the highly-anticipated arrival of Yae Miko as well as new events, Story Quests, weapons and more.<\/p>\n

In addition to that, there are new enemies Travelers will encounter in Enkanomiya plus a familiar face will be returning to the game as a new Weekly Boss. Let’s take a look at the fearsome threats arriving in Teyvat in the Genshin Impact 2.5 update.<\/p>\n

New Weekly Boss – The Raiden Shogun<\/h2>\n

The Raiden Shogun<\/a> is returning to Genshin Impact as a new and electrifying new boss. Many Travelers had the chance to face off against her during “The Omnipresent God “ Archon Quest, however, this isn’t the first time the developers utilised a playable character as an in-game boss.<\/p>\n

To better understand whether this new Weekly Boss is in fact the Raiden Shogun or Ei, they will need to complete her Story Quest which will be included in the 2.5 update. Similarly, this will also unlock Yae Miko’s Story Quest which will continue the storyline as they explore the rumours of a terrifying threat in Inazuma.<\/p>\n

In keeping up with tradition, Weekly Bosses are formidable opponents when compared to other enemy types. Not only can she slow down time but she can easily destroy shielded characters using her Musou no Hitotachi with a single attack.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, this does make support characters, particularly, healers and shielders, rather ineffective against this Electro boss. Nevertheless, Travelers who are looking for a challenge can look forward to the return of the Raiden Shogun in the 2.5 update. <\/p>\n

New Monsters – The Shadowy Husks<\/h2>\n

As previously reported, the Shadowy Husks<\/a> are looking to make their presence known in Genshin Impact’s 2.5 update. There will be three variations of this new enemy type, Standard Bearers, Linebreakers and Defenders, each boasting different weaponry and abilities.<\/p>\n

The Standard Bearers will create shields for themselves and other nearby Shadowy Husks when they are attacked by a shielded character. As such, they’ll definitely bring something interesting to the game and certainly, many will be bringing new strategies when facing these ominous enemies in-game.<\/p>\n

We’re looking forward to seeing new strategies and party combinations you’ll be devising ahead of the new update. And that’s all about the new Weekly Boss and monsters introduced in this new update, which will be available on 16th February 2022. <\/p>\n
