PM me and let&#8217;s make something great!<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Jonas Gundersen (@jonasgundersen) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jonasgundersen\/status\/1230508219392499713?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 20, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>Jonas Gundersen, <span>Chief Operating Officer<\/span> for NiP, is new to the role but has been overseeing operations within the organisation since the start of the year.<\/p>\n<p>While NiP initially entered into LoL by signing the former roster of Copenhagen Wolves back in 2013, a subsequent disband led to an absence of two years before a return in 2017, picking up the recently-promoted Fnatic Academy team.<\/p>\n<p>The roster was then disbanded following relegation the following year. With the EU LCS replaced by the LEC, there is no longer relegation and numerous new regional leagues exist in the ecosystem including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/league-of-legends\/riot-create-dutch-belgian-lol-leagues\">Belgian and Dutch Leagues new for 2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>MAD Lions is the newest name in the LEC following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/esports\/splyce-reveals-rebrand-to-mad-lions\">the rebranding of Splyce<\/a> by parent company OverActive Media ahead of the 2020 Spring Split.<\/p>\n<div data-oembed-url=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MADLions_LoLEN\/status\/1200483587730149376\">\n<blockquote align=\"center\" class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">MAD Lions will be joining the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LEC?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@LEC<\/a> in 2020! &#127466;&#127480; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pjCycRuYzv\">https:\/\/t.co\/pjCycRuYzv<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/48yG2Npwzr\">pic.twitter.com\/48yG2Npwzr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; MAD Lions (@MADLions_LoLEN) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MADLions_LoLEN\/status\/1200483587730149376?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 29, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" charset=\"utf-8\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\"><\/script>\n<\/div>\n<p>The LCS saw the return of familiar faces of its own with Evil Geniuses acquiring the Echo Fox spot, Immortals taking the OpTic Gaming spot and a merger between Clutch Gaming and Dignitas resulting in the latter making its first LCS appearance since 2017.<\/p>\n<p>In other esports titles, Ninjas in Pyjamas was recently announced as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/cs-go\/esl-pro-league-astralis-teams-season-11\">one of 13 partner teams for the ESL Pro League<\/a> from Season 11 in CS:GO.
