Free Fire is widely known for being one of the biggest mobile games of the moment, thanks to its huge player base that reaches millions of players a day, and its global collaborations with various famous brands and franchisees from all media.<\/p>\n

Although its last crossovers have been more focused on series like Money Heist and AAA titles like Assassin’s Creed, this time it will be the turn for one of the biggest music bands right now to arrive at this battle royale, thanks to a new alliance between Garena and Big Hit Music’s BTS.<\/p>\n

The Bangtan Boys are on their way to Free Fire<\/h2>\n

As teased a few days ago on their social media<\/a>, the most successful and popular Korean group of the moment will make its appearance in Free Fire very soon. In addition, as part of this collaboration, the band has been named as “brand ambassador” joining figures such as Cristiano Ronaldo with whom they share this honour.<\/p>\n

“BTS is a global phenomenon, their appeal and influence are unmatched. We are very excited to welcome them as our newest ambassadors, and can’t wait to share more details of the ongoing collaboration,” shared Harold Teo, producer of Free Fire.<\/p>\n

At the moment, both Garena and BTS haven’t shared details about the content that will come to the battle royale title as part of this alliance. However, as in previous crossovers, players are expected to enjoy both skins based on each of the band’s members and mascots, as well as themed accessories with their characteristic style, and even a new special event.<\/p>\n

Also, being a group with its global reach and its huge fan base known as ARMY, it wouldn’t be strange to wait for the release of a promotional single to put their groove on the battlefield.<\/p>\n

“We can’t wait to share more details of the collaboration we have underway,” added Teo.<\/p>\n

The collaboration between BTS and Free Fire will be available at the end of March, as part of the OB33 update.<\/p>\n

Sadly, not all players from around the world will be able to enjoy this collaboration, as places like India have already banned the game from their app stores due to security reasons.<\/p>\n
