Gran Turismo 7 actually marks the 25th anniversary since the title first debuted on PlayStation, so it’s safe to say 2022 will be a big year for the Gran Turismo franchise. The best of the best from the series to this point, it looks like Polyphony Digital has delivered exactly what players were looking for in Gran Turismo 7.<\/p>\n

One of the most popular modes will undoubtedly be the immersive simulation experience as it returns to the delight of many fans. Here’s everything you need to know about how How Gran Turismo 7’s GT Simulation Mode works.<\/p>\n

Gran Turismo 7’s GT Simulation Mode – Single-Player Campaign<\/h2>\n

When first embarking on GT Simulation mode in Gran Turismo 7, players can enjoy an awesome historical mini-movie on the history of automobiles. Starting from the creation of the first cars, all the way up until the terrific creations of car manufacturers today, you’ll be well schooled on your racing knowledge from the opening cutscenes.<\/p>\n

When the video concludes, players will enter a new world of racing with so many options to enjoy. The opening map will operate as somewhat of a tutorial at first, walking players through the different facets of the game mode.<\/p>\n

GT Simulation Mode in Gran Turismo 7 is the primary game mode of the original Gran Turismo titles. GT Simulation Mode leads players through a full career of racing glory, starting from license testing, and features so many races for the player to enter.<\/p>\n

GT Simulation Mode – License Test<\/h3>\n

Once players finish the initial menu walkthrough and acquire their first car, it’s time for the License Test. The License Test is a standard in Gran Turismo titles,  acting as a high-speed racing tutorial for both new and returning players.<\/p>\n

The License Test challenges are necessary for players to complete in order to enter official races. License Tests also provide scaled rewards depending on how well players race under time constraints.<\/p>\n

GT Simulation Mode – Single-Player Races<\/h3>\n

<\/span><\/span>GT Simulation Mode offers players a chance to compete on the World Circuit, which is the customary (Campaign) game mode of the Gran Turismo series. Players have the option to select from many different Regions and Tracks<\/a>, race types, and more as they complete their quest for racing dominance.<\/p>\n

There are also a number of housekeeping facets of GT Simulation Mode to make it feel even more realistic. Here are the features to take note of:<\/p>\n

  • Garage<\/strong> – Allows players to see all the cars in their possession. The Garage is also the place to change car selection for the next race.<\/li>\n
  • Car Wash <\/strong>– Allows players to wash their car for 50 credits. This is a cosmetic-only feature but certainly makes the cars look better.<\/li>\n
  • Machine Test<\/strong> – Allows players to test the performance levels of their car. There are three types of tests: 0-400 m (1\/4 mile drag race), 0-1000 m (1-kilometer drag race), and Max Speed.<\/li>\n
  • Dealerships<\/strong> – This is where players will acquire new or used cars, take their cars in for a tune-up, or sell their cars. There is also a ‘Special Model’ section of the dealership for some serious bank-breaking purchases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
