The best players from around the world competed in the Pokémon Oceania International Championships 2020<\/a> in Melbourne, Australia – hoping to earn cash prizes, gift cards and qualification points for the Pokémon World Championships 2020 in London.<\/p>\n

In the Masters Division, defending Oceania champion Eduardo Cunha faced the number one seed Marco Hemantha Kaludura Silva in the VGC final.<\/p>\n

Despite having the experience of winning the tournament in 2019, Eduardo was outclassed by Marco across both games, with the latter winning 2-0 in a straight sweep.<\/p>\n
