A recent update in Pokémon Legends: Arceus<\/a> has added some new items and mechanics into the open-world game. One of the biggest of these new additions is Massive Mass Outbreaks, which see multiple hordes of Pokémon appear on the map after completing a post-game quest. In order to deal with these hordes that can appear on the map, Game Freak also added in some items to help players out. <\/p>\n

The biggest of these items is the Aguav Berry, which allows players to successfully make their way through the Massive Mass Outbreaks. While they can also heal a Pokémon by half its max HP and also lure Pokémon, their main use is to feed Munchlax. Specifically, Mai’s Munchlax, who players meet through the Massive Mass Outbreak quest. <\/p>\n

Once fed five Aguav Berries, Munchlax will show players where certain hordes of Pokémon are during an outbreak so they can see which horde to visit. <\/p>\n

Aguav Berries can only be found in two ways when playing Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The first is by visiting Jubilife Village and talking to the farmer. Through some dialogue, you’ll be able to pick an option called Special Berry Harvest. This allows you to plant and grow Aguav Berries on expeditions. Each time you select the Special Berry Harvest option, it will cost 10,000 Poké Dollars. <\/p>\n

The second way to acquire Aguav Berries is by using the Massive Mass Outbreaks. During one, there’s a chance that a Berry Outbreak can take place. This is just like what it sounds like, as the outbreak features a massive amount of berries for players to collect. You can find this specific horde on your map by looking for the berry icon that will appear next to a Pokémon horde’s icon during a Massive Mass Outbreak. <\/p>\n

You won’t always get a ton of Aguav Berries using this method but you’re almost guaranteed to nab a few. This is especially helpful if you don’t have a ton of money on hand. This isn’t as reliable as paying the farmer for a harvest of Aguav Berries but it’s a great alternative to still yield some berries. <\/p>\n
