First released to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2013, GTA Online is the multiplayer facet of GTA V allowing for online fun with friends.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/gta\/gta-online-next-gen-release\">GTA Online next-gen will release<\/a> to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles, though the file sizes will vary for each platform. The new era of GTA Online will feature stunning visuals and a totally realistic gameplay experience.<\/p>\n<p>Now a popular question is popping up in GTA Online circles after a free period made headlines. It won&#8217;t be available to all players, but here&#8217;s how&nbsp;to play GTA V next-gen for free.<\/p>\n<h2>GTA V next-gen how to play for free<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"img-figure\" contenteditable=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 100%;\" contenteditable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-cf.ginx.tv\/imgcdn\/cvpOXpvJ-3hLmkbQ4LMpW2_-mySym3D2rgN1vVcwSK8\/rs:fill:0:0:1\/g:ce\/aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ2lueC50di91cGxvYWRzMi9HVEEvR1RBVk5leHRHZW5IYW5kc09uLmpwZw\" alt=\"GTA V how to play for free\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" loading=\"lazy\"><figcaption contenteditable=\"false\">Some players will get a chance at free GTA V period. (Picture: Rockstar Games)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Set to release 15th March, the GTA V next-gen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ginx.tv\/en\/gta\/pre-load-gta-5-ps5-xbox-series-x-file-size\">pre-load period<\/a> is now live for players who want to get the game as soon as possible. Both the file sizes and prices differ for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, with the latter offering an additional bonus.<\/p>\n<p>Xbox Series X|S users will have the chance to purchase GTA V (single-player story mode and GTA Online) 50% off at &#36;19.99 USD \/ &pound;17.49 for the first three months after launch. GTA Online will also be available as a standalone purchase for &#36;9.99 USD \/ &pound;8.99 for the first three months, also 50% off during that period.<\/p>\n<p>On PlayStation 5, GTA V (single-player story mode and GTA Online) will be a whopping 75% off for the first three months, costing just &#36;9.99 USD \/ &pound;8.75.
